LGS Stoneygate takes a comprehensive approach to online safety. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to navigate the online world safely both within and outside of school. 

By working together, we can create a safe and positive online environment for every student at LGS Stoneygate.

Here's how we achieve this:

• Technology for Protection: Our internet connection uses cloud-based filtering and monitoring, ensuring safe access regardless of the device used.
• Proactive Monitoring: Classroom.Cloud helps us monitor student activity on school devices. This allows us to identify potential concerns and prioritise student safety. Alerts notify staff if a student requires immediate support and our Online Response Team and Designated Safeguarding Leads are prepared to intervene promptly.
• Curriculum Integration: We integrate online safety education throughout the curriculum, both explicitly in IT and PSHE (Personal, Social, and Health Education) classes and implicitly within other subject areas.
• School Communication: On occasion, your child may receive electronic communication from LGS Stoneygate staff through email or approved online learning platforms.
